Refund Policy
VCI Marketplace, operated by Vibe Coding Incubator LLC (Stripe d/b/a "Marketplace VC Inc.")

This Refund Policy explains when and how you can get a refund on VCI Marketplace. Most Deals come with a 30-day money-back guarantee by default; individual listings may state a different window. This Policy is part of our Terms of Service.
1. The short version
- Default refund window: 30 days from the date of your purchase, unless the listing states otherwise.
- How to request: email contact@vcinc.ai with your order number and a brief explanation. The seller may also offer a refund form inside the App.
- What happens on a full refund: we credit your original payment method via Stripe, and the redemption code for that Deal is revoked (you lose access to the App).
- What we do not refund: requests outside the refund window, duplicative or abusive requests, and certain edge cases set out below.
2. The default 30-day money-back guarantee
Unless a specific listing states otherwise, the default refund policy on VCI Marketplace is a 30-day money-back guarantee: if you are not satisfied with a Deal, you can request a full refund within 30 days of your purchase and, in the ordinary case, we will process it. The guarantee is offered jointly by the seller and the Platform; you do not have to argue with the seller to get a refund covered by the guarantee.
Individual listings may offer a more generous policy (for example, 60 days) or a more limited policy (for example, "no refunds after 7 days for X reason"). The listing is binding when it deviates from the default; read it before buying.
3. How to request a refund
Email contact@vcinc.ai with:
- the email address on your account;
- the Deal name (or the order ID from your purchase confirmation email);
- a brief explanation of why you are requesting a refund.
We aim to process refund requests within 5 business days. The refund itself, once approved, is credited by Stripe to your original payment method; it can take 5 to 10 additional business days for your bank to surface the credit, depending on your card network. We do not refund to a different card or account.
4. What "refund" means in practice
4.1 Full refunds
When we process a full refund:
- Stripe credits the full purchase price back to your original payment method;
- the single-use redemption code attached to that purchase is revoked;
- your access to the App ends, including for any in-App data or content tied to that purchase;
- the seller's recorded revenue from that purchase is reversed; we may recover the seller's previously-paid share from future payouts (this is between the Platform and the seller; you do not need to be involved).
If you want to keep using the App, do not request a refund. A refund is not partial credit; it is a return of the purchase in exchange for access ending.
4.2 Partial refunds
In some cases we may offer a partial refund (for example, where part of the value of a Deal was delivered and part was not). Partial refunds are handled manually and do not automatically revoke access; we will tell you the access outcome in writing when we agree on the partial-refund amount.
4.3 Refunds initiated by Stripe (chargebacks)
If you ask your bank to reverse a charge instead of contacting us first, Stripe treats it as a chargeback. While Stripe investigates the chargeback, we revoke the redemption code to protect the seller and us. Chargebacks are slower and less flexible than working with our team. We strongly recommend emailing contact@vcinc.ai first. See Section 6.4 of our Terms of Service for the rule on bad-faith chargebacks.
5. When we may decline a refund
We may decline a refund request if:
- the request is made outside the refund window stated on the listing (or, if the listing is silent, outside the default 30-day window);
- the request is duplicative, for example, you already received a refund for this Deal or a credit equivalent;
- the request appears abusive, for example, repeated refund requests across many Deals consistent with policy-abuse patterns;
- the account requesting the refund is not in good standing under our Terms (e.g., a prior unfunded chargeback, a banned account);
- the buyer extracted material value from the App that is not reversible by revoking the redemption code (e.g., downloaded and exported a substantial dataset only available because of the purchase);
- the request is for a reason the listing explicitly excludes (e.g., "no refunds for change of mind") and the request is for that reason;
- the request is for an App or class of App for which refunds are not permitted by applicable law (very rare for digital goods);
- the seller has gone out of business and the Platform has already paid out the seller's share that is now unrecoverable; in this case we will work with you on a credit toward another Deal as a remedy of last resort.
6. Statutory rights
Where you are a consumer protected by mandatory consumer-protection laws, this Policy does not limit any statutory right you have to a refund or remedy. Nothing in this Policy excludes your right to a remedy for digital content that is not as described, not fit for purpose, or otherwise non-conforming.
7. Seller discontinuation
If a seller stops supporting an App you purchased within 60 days of your purchase, email contact@vcinc.ai. We may offer a refund or a credit toward another Deal at our discretion, even if the listing's refund window has elapsed. Outside the 60-day window, the seller's policies and your statutory rights govern.
8. Subscriptions
The Platform currently sells only one-time-purchase Deals. If we re-enable subscription-style Deals in the future, this Policy will be updated to address cancellation, prorated refunds, and renewal mechanics.
9. Currency, exchange rates, and fees
Refunds are issued in the same currency as the original payment. If your bank performs a currency conversion, the amount credited to your account may differ slightly from the amount you paid due to exchange-rate movement; this is not a Platform fee and we cannot adjust it. Stripe processing fees on the original transaction may not be refundable to us by the card network, but we will not pass that loss on to you.
